Stacey & Josh (Ventura County)
This wedding was a circus! And... I adored every minute of it. Stacey & Josh really won my heart years ago as guests at another wedding and I was thrilled to be called upon to document their Ventura County Vintage Circus Wedding at a private estate in Fillmore, CA. So many friends came together to make this wedding a 2 ring masterpiece; pun intended. Saralee Franchi of XOXO Bride was the event designer as well as a good friend. Saralee asked Stacey what her dream wedding was and when Stacey suggested the vintage circus vibe, Saralee worked hard to make it a reality! Stacey made her hair piece by hand and included pearls that were passed down to her from her father's mother and wore her mother's mother's pearl necklace on her wrist. Stacey made her shoes by glittering a pair of shoes that she loved. Nathaniel & Daniel Cheli, friends of the couple and twins, were the stilted fire breathing circus performers.
