It’s ridiculous just how profusely beautiful Super 8 Films are. I’m falling in love with Billy + Holly’s wedding day
more every time I watch their movie.

What a beautiful summer day at The Cliffs Resort ! Holly and Billy were one classy and beautiful couple. The weather was perfect and love filled the air! Camilla did an amazing job as usual with the flowers and tent decorations.

Dalmar + Amelia {Shell Beach}

Dalmar + Amelia were married at The Cliffs Resort in Pismo Beach. It couldn’t have been a nicer day! These guys know how to throw a party. They had Mariachi Camarillo and DJ Malik Miko. Jenny McNiece did a fab job on the flowers!

Featured Wedding {You & Your Wedding –UK Magazine}

I am thrilled that You & Your Wedding, A United Kingdom magazine, did such a lovely feature on Ali + Matt’s Central Coast wedding. It is a full 4 page spread showing and telling the romantic story of how the couple met and how they managed to put together their dream destination wedding.

I just love how well this magazine shares the moments, details and participants that made this wedding such a beautiful and memorable event! Here is an excerpt from the opening paragraph;
When LA actress Alis Hillis (who’s appeared in shows like Less Than Perfect and Baywatch) was invited on a trip to Mexico, by Matt Schwarz, a New Yorker she’d only dated a few times, she was surprised but curious enough to accept. “We had a wonderful Holiday and fell in love in Cabo,” says Ali. Their relationship continued for a year and a half before Matt proposed with a family heirloom diamond in Connecticut. The couple married at The Cliffs Resort in California in August 2009. “We held the wedding on a grassy cliff-top above the Pacific,” says Ali. “We both love the ocean. Matt’s late father loved the sea too so we felt like he was here with us on our big day.”

I have always dreamed of shooting a wedding in England, so hopefully this will open a few doors. ;) Thanks Ali + Matt again for being so awesome to work with and thank you You & Your Wedding for telling their story so well!

Matt + Ali {Shell Beach, CA}

If Matt and Ali were a chocolate truffle they would have a gooey center consisting of awesome-sauce. They were such a joy to be around and photograph on their wedding day.

They got married at The Cliffs Resort in Shell Beach which is just down the 101 from my house. Matt and Ali chose The Cliffs because they wanted to have a destination wedding. Their guests came from L.A. and as far as the east coast. They went to great lengths to create an atmosphere of comfort and enjoyment for all of the people invited and involved. Because Ali is an actress all of the esthetic details were of the utmost importance to her. She really put her heart and soul into making sure her wedding looked and felt beautiful. She wanted people to come for the weekend, celebrate in style, and leave feeling refreshed by the Central Coast love. Matt and Ali, you pulled it off amazingly! Way to throw a party!

In other related and exciting news, Ali Hillis is an amazing actress who has been doing wonderful work in the world of Hollywood. She was in a beautiful movie called The Ultimate Gift and has appeared over the years on the occasional T.V. show. She had a part in one of my favorite RDJ movies, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and she is in the upcoming Disney feature, Beverly Hills Chihuahua. A national magazine really wants to feature Ali’s wedding in their celebrity weddings section. Stay tuned to find out who publishes Matt and Alis beautiful love story.

Adorments brought the floral beauty. A Santa Maria Mariachi band kept the guests happy during the cocktail hour and The San Luis Jazz Band had everybody dancing into the night. It was such a classy yet cozy wedding celebration.
