Heather + Jordan {Huasna}

 Huasna, Arroyo Grande, wedding photographs of Heather + Jordan taken by Cameron Ingalls Heather + Jordan got married out on Jordan’s family property deep in the heart of Huasna, East of Arroyo Grande. My wife and I were married out in Huasna but this was seriously far out there. I just adored the space and color of the whole place. They married on a lawn surrounded by rose bushes and golden fields. A majestic mountainside bordered the horizon. The newly finished barn was a spectacular venue for dining and dancing. A live band had the guests rocking out until the sparkler send off.

Gotta give a shout out to the great Camilla Burns for the amazing job on the flowers, barn and table decorations and to Creative Events Etc. for coordinating this event into a masterpiece!

Jordan + Courtney {Wedding, Paso Robles}

Jordan and Courtney got married at the beautiful Tuscan styled Villa Toscana and had their reception at a brand new winery called Vina Robles. It was a fun day for Simon and I partly because it was an awesome wedding and partly because all of the amazing wedding professionals that we got to work with!

The day started out in the upper room above the staircase where there is such an amazing view of the Villa and the Martin & Weyrich Winery. Brook Jones, owner of Reveal Salon, was working on hair with her fabulous crew. Brook is married to Simon who is my right hand second shooting man. It was fun to work together with almost the whole family (minus my wife Anna). I actually met Courtney when she worked for Brooke at Reveal. Courtney is still doing hair and couldnt resist styling her sister even on the day of her wedding. She said keeping busy kept her calm.

And finally Janice Cassacca was the coordinator who made sure everything ran like clockwork and went smooth as can be. She did a phenomenal job coordinating the vendors and the two venues.

It was a wonderful celebration and I was honored to capture so many moments and memories!

Cutest flower girl in the history of forever!

Camilla Svensson Burns did all of the bouquets and these amazing floral creations at the base of the stairs. I even included a shot of what she arranged for the tables at the reception. Love it!

I have to give this next photo proper credit to Todd Ozman who was the only member of the bridal party to suggest a shot. Thanks for being the life of the party Todd. It was great seeing you again.

Josh + Michele, Santa Ynez, CA

One of the issues that I encounter frequently when I first go to photograph a couple is what I like to call ‘the self-declared unphotogenic groom’. This is why I require my couples to have a complimentary engagement session; to get over the awkward. Josh was such the character who was convinced that he didn’t look good in photos. He was so convinced that the majority of the engagement pictures were on the stiffer side. I have to give him credit, however, because he really loosened up after he realized that it didn’t hurt half as much as he predicted. By the end of the engagement session he admitted that he surprisingly had a lot of fun. We went out for a little dinner afterwards and became good friends.

Michele and Josh are as opposites personality wise as you can get. Michele is a hair stylist and LOVES to talk. She can talk all day long to whoever sits in her chair and then get off of work and talk well into the evening with whoever will listen; mostly Josh. Josh is completely on the strong silent type side. Which makes for good balance because Michele talks and Josh lovingly listens. Going into the wedding I thought I was ready for Michele to be bubbling over and Josh to be a little bit of work. I was wrong. Josh just worked it right out of the gate. He made sure his groomsmen were prepared to do whatever I wanted because ‘Cameron is a cool photographer’.

The whole day was filled with love and laughter. Josh and Michele celebrated in style at the Firestone Vineyard in Santa Ynez. The rockin' Joe LaBarbera spun the tunes and Camilla did a bang up job with the floral decorations and boquets as usual. I couldn’t believe that they have been together since they were like 14 and 15; a little over 10 years! This was truly the wedding of the century for all who knew them.

And to end the night... Michele and I put our best modeling faces on for this self-portrait.
