My Wifes Blog!

My wonderfuly talented wife, Anna, recently posted some amazing pictures on her blog. Sveva is the newest addition to Joe and Cyndis lives. I shot their wedding a couple of summers ago. When they called me to photograph their baby I passed them onto Anna. It was fun to see her get excited and start planning the shoot. We have this beautiful overgrown backyard and she knew right away that she wanted to photograph Sveva in the clovers. Anna did such an amazing job getting Sveva to light up in front of her lens. She really has some magical gift with children. It takes seconds for her to earn their trust and to get them giggling. I am so blessed and amazed that Anna has found my passion for photography as her own and that she is blazing a new trail for herself. Anna Ingalls {New Blog}

I am so proud of my wife! A year ago she was a bookkeeper helping over a dozen small businesses get ready for taxes. After we got married 10 months ago she decided to join forces with me. She has picked up photography and it turns out she has a real gift! I am so excited and constantly amazed by her skills. The 805 Collective just finished the design on her blog and released it today. RSS it and give her a shout out of encouragement. I love my wife!

A Little Marital Advice

Being newly married myself, my wife and I ask a lot of people for words of wisdom when it comes to this whole marriage deal. We recently had some {older} friends over from our church for dinner and received a great little word of advice! I wrote an article for mywedding.com sharing the wisdom they shared with us. It is so important to have older couples investing into our lives. We have already learned a lot from our new friendship with the Whittakers! We appreciate that they are willing to encourage and take the time to pour into our new marriage. Thanks guys; we hope we can bless you at least half as much as you have already blessed us!

Why I Do the Dishes

I dont claim to be an expert in marriage, but I am learning. In all my 8 months of experience I have amassed a wealth of wisdom (8 months worth!). And although I am still a newbie to this whole marriage deal, I believe that if you know at least one thing than you have something to teach others. I wrote a little bit of advice to those preparing for the venture of marriage. Big Folio -the bf/ stop

My friends over at Big Folio asked me to join their blogging team! Big Folio makes updateable websites for photographers. I met them a few years back in Vegas at WPPI. When I asked Mike where they were from he told me Arroyo Grande. AG is 15 minutes from where I live in SLO town! We quickly realized that we knew a lot of the same people. They actually got started after doing an easily updateable photography website for my friend Kenny Morgan several years ago. They shopped around their websites to some photogs on the internet and their business exploded!

They really offer a fantastic service to photographers who want to keep fresh and internet savvy for an affordable price.

I will be posting weekly articles and daily images at the bf/ stop. Considering all of the new photographers that email me with questions every week I think it will be a good outlet for me. I love helping people pursue their dreams and so I offer a lot of information about my experience to those who simply ask. I will be able to turn some of my weekly conversations into articles and stories for the The Big Folio blog so that hopefully I can help out more people at once.

Im excited to be blogging officially for mywedding.com! My very first article is called Weddings are for Dudes!
