Mark + Katie {Big Sur}

One of my favorite things about living on the Central Coast is that Big Sur is just a 2 (or so) hour drive North of my house. I literally drive one block from my house and I’m on HWY 1. It is one of the most beautiful stretches of coastland in all of California! That’s why Katie and Mark flew all the way from Canada to have a short and sweet wedding at the cozy Henry Miller Library. Drew from Cana VP joined me for the adventure because he is addicted to Big Sur. Check out his fun movie below.

Holly + Robert {Big Sur}

Holly and Robert eloped in Big Sur yesterday. It was a romantic guerrilla wedding sneaking through the trees to the very point of Ragged Point. I was thrilled to be one of the few witnesses to their exchanging of rings and vows. It was a one of those amazing days where the fog seems to pour up over the cliffs from the ocean below.

Holly’s hankie was a piece of her grandmother’s wedding dress.

Luke + Jen {Engagement, Big Sur}

Take a beautiful afternoon drive up the California 1, hike to a waterfall through the wild of the Big Sur national forest, hang out with a fun couple and take their pictures, have an tasty dinner at Nepenthe overlooking the Pacific ocean and you get a typical day with me at work. Well, I guess I dont do that every day. ;) But thats what is so exciting about my job, I never know where the next couple will take me.

Luke and Jen were a lot of fun to hike and dine with! They have a real sweet relationship full of care and amazing compassion for one another. They had their heart set on a waterfall located at the Big Sur Lodge in Pfeiffer state park. We walked a mile or so and found the waterfall to be not as grand as we expected. Regardless, we got great pictures of them along the way. It was a great adventure!
