Happy Valentines Day!

We just returned home from a lovely Valentines date day to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The day began with a nice pancake breakfast and then we headed up the 101 to our secret date destination. Anna had no idea where we were going until we drove under the Monterey sign. She was thrilled! It was really sweet to just spend the day together and celebrate the gift of love. Here we are on the beach where we had our picnic lunch. These shots are from Anna’s grandmother’s Polaroid camera, which I am beginning to fall in love with!

AWESOME! I just went to a retreat in Monterey a couple weekends ago and I had never been there as an adult. (Although I DO have a childhood photo of me at the aquarium with my brothers and I am wearing MC Hammer pants and Nike Pumps. Lol.) I love the atmosphere up there. It's a lovely refuge from the break neck pace of So Cal. You always have great ideas Cam. Thanks for loving my friend like she deserves to be loved. :) Hope you guys had a great time!

I really love these Polaroid's... they are an art piece in and of themselves. I would love a copy of these to put up! I love how your eye travels around the photo... you can't get enough. There's so much texture to look at and take in. I vote more polaroid shots!!!

i've never seen anything like this before. it's funny because i looked at the image a few times and was as fascinated with how organic the whole piece as the actual subject matter. it all works. i vote more pola shots too!
