Bryan + Cheryl
Bryan + Cheryl were married at a nice little church in Los Osos, CA and had their reception at the Embassy Suites of San Luis Obispo. I am again forced to post way more pictures than is blog-legal, but I just can’t control myself. The couple, bridal party, families, and guests were all so much fun all day long. Cheryl was one of the calmest brides ever. I didn’t even have to ask her how she was doing. The peace and joy that she wore was even more beautiful than her amazing wedding gown. Bryan and Cheryl were the ideal couple for me. This year has been full of adventurous couples and Bryan + Cheryl were no exception.I was thrilled when Cheryl happily agreed to climb on top of the piano we found in her dressing room. And the dudes were co-operative enough to explore an abandoned house across the street from the church. After the ceremony the whole bridal party met us downtown for some shots in San Luis.
The reception was a lot of fun thanks to D.J. Mel ‘The 5 Footed Filipino' who did a club-house job of mixing songs and beats from everything from Mo-Town to Gwen Stephanie. I hope to add some photos from the party later.

Bryan + Cheryl choreographed a dance for their reception intro and practiced it one last time.

Hello, I enjoy checking in on your blog and gushing over the photos. They are beautiful. My family had a piano just like that green one when I was little. That makes me smile. :) Thanks for sharing your work!
Dude, sweet images! i love the ones of the couple with your insanely sweet framing. See you soon brah.
Cameron, your style is so amazingly unique...love every time I come to your blog and see your images! New web photos look awesome too :-)
Hi there, your blog was linked on someone else's blog that I read, so I come here every so often just to look at your amazing photography. I don't usually comment on people I don't actually know, but I had to comment this time, because of the piano shot. The piano is my favorite instrument, and I also have a great love for the antique-ish and unique, so that green piano is THE coolest!! :) As is your use of it in the photograph.
sorry for the long comment from a stranger. :) I just had to tell you I really appreciate the beauty you capture so very well.
I LOVE the piano shot! I just left a comment on Anna's blog as well. I've been following your blog/story/website for a few months and love your work. I stumbled across you on some Northern CA wedding photographers list that I was researching - I'm starting up an album design business. You do amazing work, and I am happy to see another couple out there using their God-given talents to touch lives. Our wedding photographers (a husband/wife team) do the same. It's amazing when He gives you a passion for something, isn't it? When you finally find that one thing you love to do that you cannot imagine wasting it? I'm on the verge of jumping into my own thing. Thank you for another inspiring story, and for using that God-given gift you have. My hubby loves your work as well, and especially Anna's. Thank you for letting us all in by sharing your art with us. We will continue to follow your work!
Talia, thanks for introducting yourself! It is good to hear from people that connect with something or some moment. Makes my job that much more rewarding.
Jax, so glad that you understand the beauty of partnering with our marriage partner. A lot of people trip out when we tell them we work together and it makes us kinda sad. They say, 'I could never work with my husband/wife'. Or... 'I love have seperate lives'. Working togther makes a world of sense to us. Two just have a better return for their work. Even though it is challenging to learn to communicate patiently and kindly all of the time, it is so good for me! It has already made me a better person and such a better photographer!
It's funny about passion. I've been thinking a lot about it lately. I have realized that passion, more than my camera or lenses or computers is my greatest tool. If my passion dwindles or fades I loose eveything. Like a fire, passion is something I must contine to stoke and fan the flames so that I can continue to capture life and love; both creativly and vividly. Thanks for checking in and sharing your heart with me.
